Yinyang

I survived the first day of classes. I had only five (or six?) hours of sleep, so I was a zombie today. Good thing I had pleasant surprises.

• Grade Seven's work ethics I gave the class the liberty to choose the consequence of not having their log sheets signed by parents. One student explained that a one-point deduction was not advisable because students would think lightly of it as it's just one point anyway. Hearing that from a 13-year old student made me swell with pride.
